Off the Block is an original idea of RBL's.

4 writers are given 4 days to write 4 20 minute plays. The end of one play will be the beginning of the next and the final play will be handed in at 7.30am on the morning of the performance.

The four groups of four actors are given their scripts at 9am, when they also get to meet the four directors.

At 7.30pm, the scripts are learnt, performances perfected and the audience enjoy the show.

It's our way of celebrating the true thrill of live theatre.
